Home and School Association
The Home and School Association is the parent group at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy. Getting involved in this organization allows you to have a unified voice in the mission of Our Lady of Grace. The parent group discusses school policies with faculty and staff, plans events, coordinates service opportunities, and assists in school fundraising. Activities planned by the Home and School Association include: the Family Dance, Golf Tournament, Shop 'til You Drop, Grace Gala/Mardi Gras, Book Fair, Easter Egg Hunt, Chili Supper, SCRATCH Cupcakes, and Trunk or Treat. Service Hours and Volunteer Opportunities
Taking an active part of your child's educational experience is not only important to your child and the school - but is an important way in fostering fellowship with one another. Each family is required to volunteer 20 hours per year. Volunteer opportunities are plentiful and include:
- Volunteer in the classroom
- Lunchroom and recess monitors
- Help with class parties, field trips, stage set up,
or service projects.
- Assist the office by getting mailings ready
- Count Box Tops

In an effort to reach out to potential families and to support new families arriving at GRACE, a Parent Ambassador Program was started in 2012. GRACE Ambassadors are connected with new families as a resource throughout the school year. Ambassadors also assist with giving school tours and helping to volunteer at or coordinate events that promote the school to the community. If you are interested in becoming a Parent Ambassador, please contact the office.
The Our Lady of Grace School Booster Club promotes involvement of school athletic programs. The Booster Club facilitates and enriches the athletic programs for the students and gives support to the Athletic Director and school administration. The social events and fundraising activities of the Booster Club contribute to the Parish community. Booster Club members are active participants through service and support in the basic Catholic Christian philosophy of the school community.
